The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) is responsible for considering requests of hardships submitted by an applicant (residents and/or property owner) for zoning variances and special permits as outlined by Zoning laws. The board meets the third Thursday of each month at 5:30 pm in the second floor conference room of City Hall. Applications must be submitted to the City Clerk by the first Friday of the month to be considered at that month's meeting.
The City of Hornell Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2026, in the 2nd floor Conference Room of City Hall to hear Case #26-01, a requested Zoning Variance to reconstruct a fence at 62 Cedar Street and Case #26-02, a requested Zoning Variance to build a garage at 51 Wood Street.
This meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals is open to the public.
